I work alongside clients to make links between present difficulties and past experiences; thinking together to understand why they feel the way they do and working towards establishing new and better ways of living.

This includes thinking about each client's individual needs and working at a pace that makes sense for them.

I believe that, through our work together, I can help you to gain insight and in turn learn to cope with present and future difficulties in a more productive manner.

My work with clients includes the following:

  • Abuse
  • Addiction
  • Anger
  • Anxiety
  • Bereavement and loss
  • Couples counselling
  • Depression
  • Eating disorders
  • Identity
  • Personal development
  • Relationship issues
  • Self-harm
  • Sexual issues
  • Stress
  • Trauma
  • Work-related issues
  • and more

I offer a safe, warm and empathetic approach in a comfortable, intimate and confidential environment.

Therapy can be short-term or open-ended. This is something we will discuss and decide together.

Sessions can be face to face, via video or over the telephone.

Couples Counselling

  • In a safe and secure space we will reflect on what is not working in the relationship. There may be a disconnect, or a breakdown in communication. I offer a space to think about better ways of communicating and to help clients listen to their partners differently.
  • Relationship counselling is for individuals as well as couples.
  • If coming as a couple I will meet you as a couple first and then arrange a session each individually. After this we would discuss and decide the best way forward form here. This might be continuing to meet together or it could be individually to start with.
  • Sessions can be held via zoom or in person and last for fifty minutes.
  • Understanding why you behave as you do in intimate relationships can be pivotal to creating change going forward.

Fees

I charge for a 50 minute session is:
